Luminox, maker of the world’s most luminous timepieces, is proud to introduce three new editions to the BlackOut collection, one in the Colormark series (3152 BO), and two in its Field series (1879 BO, and A.1881 BO). These Swiss-made watches are known for their continuous glowing visibility, thanks to the proprietary Luminox Light Technology (LLT). Black is a natural choice for the newest additions due to the covert nature of many brand ambassadors: SWAT teams, Navy SEALs and even Stealth fighter pilots.
The Field Series, a staple of the watch world, and often worn by law enforcement and military’s personnel, now offers its same best selling watches in BlackOut form: 1879 BO and 1881 BO. Luminox's BlackOut Field models feature 47mm black PVD plated stainless steel cases, and are available in either a day/date or chrono/alarm version. The chronograph is manufactured with our exclusive sound box that amplifies the alarm sound.
Standard water resistance for most Luminox watches is 200 meters and these are equally rated (with is sound box case back, the Field chronograph is rated to 100 meters). With their sleek and covert look, these timepieces are equipped to outlast the toughest elements.
The series was created with blue hand and hour markers for night viewing using LLT-micro gas light glow. While the look of the watch is completely black, telling time remains easy thanks to a tone-on-tone look of matte black dials and polished black numbers.
